Swit task cards go beyond the basics to organize information for projects of any size. Choose due dates and times, designate multiple assignees and collaborators, set priorities, organize a checklist, attach related tasks across projects and workspaces, and even include subtasks up to seven layers deep!

Due Dates and Times

You can assign a due date, set a time period for a task, or even set due times for critical projects. To further streamline the process, individual checklist items can each have their own deadlines.

Checklists

Break down complicated tasks into more manageable steps, and assign each one to a specific team member. Give checklist items due dates and reorganize them to fit your workflow. Visual indicators make it clear at a glance when items are marked as completed. Convert checklist items into separate tasks and they are automatically linked as Related Tasks to preserve context.

Related Tasks

You can link related tasks for easy reference as part of a larger project. Related tasks are shown in a list on all linked cards, along with their due dates, current status, and assignee(s). Easily move between related tasks with one click.

Attachments

Some tasks may require additional context in order to move forward. Files can be uploaded or attached directly from a linked shared drive. Chat messages, emails, and even calendar meeting links can be attached to task cards for more efficient collaboration. You can also attach Swit Approvals to task cards for reference, or pair Swit OKRs to show how the task contributes to your greater goals.

Pairing projects to channels lets you view the status of a task you’re working on right from the chat panel, facilitating more transparency between colleagues and supporting asynchronous communication.
